Polina Kourakina

Singer/songwriter Polina Kourakina blends the sounds of soulful jazz and acoustic folk rock to create her own unique sound. She has been involved with music from a young age and is well traveled with her sound, having performed in places like Dallas, San Diego, San Francisco, and Washington D.C. Artists that have influenced Polina over the years include Joni Mitchell, Norah Jones, and Janis Joplin. Polina’s voice, in combination with the harmonies strummed from her guitar, creates a powerful yet calm sound, and presence that resonates from the stage. Polina arrived in Cleveland’s music scene last year and has played at many different venues and open mic nights around the area. She recently released a six track EP, “Wanderlust,” earlier this year. She is looking forward to playing her first PRIDE event in Cleveland this year.
