Cleveland Synergy Foundation, Cleveland State University, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Downtown Cleveland-Lakeside, The Corner Alley, Union Cafe and TWIST Social Club invite you to celebrate the 2nd annual GLBTS multiple sports and cultural event SYNERGYFEST.

Participants from all across the USA and Canada will converge on Cleveland for a weekend filled with sporting competitions, sponsored parties and community building. More than 800 participants will compete in:

Women’s Softball
Tennis

Volleyball
Wii

SYNERGYFEST 2011 may choose to add other sports and exhibitions if the opportunity arises. All of the events will take place within walking distance (less than 15 minutes) from the Host Hotel – DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Downtown Cleveland-Lakeside.

From the moment the weekend kicks off with the Registration events until the last medals and trophies are awarded to the winners, the entire weekend will be packed full of activities for participants, spectators, volunteers and corporate sponsors.

3-mi Walk and 5K Run

Starts and ends at the Rock Hall Plaza

Walk, Rock & Run unifies communities across Northeast Ohio while raising awareness of diversity issues.

Since 2002, The Diversity Center has partnered with The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum to host the walk and run for more than 5,000 participants to celebrate diversity. Artists, entertainers, and community sponsors provide great music, delicious food, and other family entertainment. All participants gain free entry into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, Great Lakes Science Center, and Baseball Heritage Museum.

All proceeds support The Diversity Center’s School & Youth initiatives in nine Northeast Ohio counties.

The Diversity Center would like to thank everyone who participated in the 2010 Walk, Rock & Run. Through your friendship and support, we surpassed our participation and financial goals.
